Time and Tide.

I just listened to a song by Late Sir Oliver de Coq; a renowned highlife musician from the eastern part of Nigeria. A song which he dedicated to the "People's Club of Nigeria".... I also heard the sonorous voice of Late Haruna Ihsola in a song dedicated to the "Oroki Social Club of Oshogbo".... No doubt, these songs are melodious and as at the time they records were waxed, it must have hit the top of the music chart. I began to wonder where the member constituting these clubs would be on a day like this. Most will definitely be reposing in their graves just like the two musicians and If any is fortunate to be alive by now, he or she would be so to partake in any social activities whatsoever. This made me think deeply that truly, time and tides affects human activities and that no situation last forever. Akinsehinwa Damilola.
